Always rebellious and never quite fitting in she spend her childhood in her own universe developing her artistic talents as well as nurturing her obsession with Street Art and Fashion. She started painting before she could write and started documenting her life and the world around her at age 15 using a Nikon film camera and her beloved JVC camcorder.
Working in a number of mediums over the years she now produces work in oils and acrylics on glass (or unusual surfaces.) She also works as a professional photographer and teaches photography in Milford, CT.

Soon after she met photographer Justin Wu and moved to Paris to be his production manager and photo assistant. Their client list included Salvatore Ferragamo, Vogue Paris, V Magazine, Elle and many more. After a wild few years Ioana shifted her attention to design and moved to NYC to work as a designer for a sweaters company in the heart of the fashion district.
She now lives with her husband Winthop and sweet corgi Pupic (Poo-Peek) by the beach and enjoys the sound of her own voice. . . After years on living and working in NYC all she desires is peace and quite to create her work.
