Fall 2016 Trend Report: THE Fall Coat

From Anya Hindmarch to Amanda Wakeley designers had fun this season while reworking our Fall jackets. Fur was also in abundance on the runway blending these trends for Fall. Put your paint away PETA!

“The customer is the final filter. What survives the whole process is what people wear. I’m not interested in making clothes that end up in some dusty museum.”

Spring 2016 Ready-To-Wear Trends

A Series of mood boards designed to capture this seasons emerging trends

Endless Blended Patterns

A trend that could not be missed this season was designers' undying defiance of pattern etiquette. Forget what you thought was acceptable and have fun. Mix patterns, exaggerate and highlight them this Spring.

She Shines like a Flower

Mixing and matching patterns was the the only trend that shined this fashion month. We saw designers mix and match trends from previous seasons; Grunge meets disco meets girlie. Anything goes.

Mega Nostalgia

This season was dedicated to the mega-nerds. Whether you were a star wars fanatic or a tourist junkie fashion has got you covered. Between Jeremy Scott and Dolce and Gabbana your 13 year only self is all set.

Not Your Average Motif

Motifs' whatever shape or size have been a detail that designers have loved to use for years but I have to say I haven't see such creativity in a long time! This season was truly fun and you could see it all over the runway.

The Higher Slit

Donald Draper might hate the saying "sex sells" but for this trend its the only thing that comes to mind. We've seen it all over the red carpet and now its all over the runway...

Tribal Infatuation

Valentino took a right when the rest of the fashion world took a left and presented a tribal inspired show that truly captured my attention. I predict this micro trend will takeover our lives in the Spring.
